How did you hear about the SCRC and when did you join?
Web Search - joined Fall 2006.

How long have you been riding?
Since Spring 2006.

Have you ever taken a motorcycle safety course?
Yep, sure did. At NOVA in Sterling. Highly recommend to anyone.

What was your first bike?
2004 HD V-Rod (GREAT starter bike, so I was teased a ton in safety class).

How many bikes have you owned?
My V-Rod. Give me a break, I just started.

Why do you ride?
It's fun. And let's not forget the COOL factor. (Kids friends are soooo jealous).

Have you ridden with an organized group before?
Nope, never thought I'd be riding now!

What modifications have you done to your bike?
Bought it used, so it already had a couple of things - Jug Hugger pipes, mirrors, chrome, luggage rack.

What accessories do you want to add to your bike?
Maybe a couple more chrome pieces, other then that, it's done.

What is your dream bike?
The new V-Rod with the big rear tire.

What kind of riding do you like to do — straight-aways or twisties?
How about wavy? Straight-aways are fun for a little more speed I can tickle out of my V-Rod (which is not hard to do, and I love the sound of my pipes), and twisties...not too crazy about them.

If you have a nickname, how did you get it? Tell the truth!
I think that was from our first ride with SCRC, the covered bridges ride in Fall 2006. See Pic. Need I say more?

What is your favorite riding route?
Not really have a fav. 55 to WV is nice, and going up to Elizabeth's Furnace crossing over to 211.

Do you ride your bike to work?
Once in a blue moon. Don't like the rush hour traffic around here much.

What is the fastest you’ve ridden?
close to 90 I think, and that without duck tape on my hands!!!

What is your favorite time of year to ride?
Summer, when it's nice and warm and I don't freeze my little behind off.

Have you ever been down? If so, how were you hurt and what did you learn from the incident?
SHHHHH, let's not jinks it. No, thank God, never. A couple of close ones where I ALMOST lost balance.

Have you ever done an "Iron Butt" ride?
No, I don't think I will.

If not, what is the furthest you’ve ridden?
Blackwater Falls ride was long. Deep Creek, MD was a stretch too.

What was the worst weather in which you’ve ridden?
Some rain. I'd pull over before it gets too bad.

Do you know how to work on your bike?
I can start it! That's something, right?

What is your favorite road song?
WHAT'd YOU SAY? Can't here ya, pipes sound too good, I meant too loud.

What was your most adventurous ride?
WV Overnighter at On Time and Ish's 2007. Was trying to become the new Rubber Ducky hood ornament for an 18 wheeler. Getting ready to pull out on to a main street behind Smokey. Stopped to look for traffic, nothing. Then out of nowhere this truck appears flying down the road. I was already too far out, so I hit the gas and went straight accross in to the gravel, since I didn't think I could make the left turn on to the road in that speed. That sure got my ticker going!

What rallies or events do you like to attend?
Not sure, maybe Sturgis, or Daytona.

Is there someone who rides "two-up" with you?
That would be one funny picture. No, but I ride sometimes with Smokey on his 2005 HD Road King Custom.
