Occupation:  Retired Supervisory Special Agent from the Treasury Department (don't that sound impressive) and currently a contract investigator for the State Department.

Current motorcycle(s):  2006 Harley Dyna Super Glide.

How did you hear about the SCRC and when did you join?
From Alli (WetSpot) and Roger (Gutter).

How long have you been riding?
Three Years.

Have you ever taken a motorcycle safety course?
Yes.

What was your first bike?
My current one.

How many bikes have you owned?
My current one.

Why do you ride?
Duh, because I like it.

Have you ridden with an organized group before?
A few rides with the Fairfax HOG.

What modifications have you done to your bike?
Safety and size (seat, forward controls, lights, engine guards, etc)

What accessories do you want to add to your bike?
I think I'm done.

What is your dream bike?
A Road King

What kind of riding do you like to do — straight-aways or twisties?
Yes.

If you have a nickname, how did you get it? Tell the truth!
I invented it. I was trying for Dirty Harry but someone else on the forum already had it.

What is your favorite riding route?
Anywhere west of Leesburg, north of Frederick or south of Gainesville.

Do you ride your bike to work?
As frequently as I can.

What is the fastest you’ve ridden?
During the bike break-in period, 85-90 getting out from between to 18 wheelers on I-95 in Baltimore.

What is your favorite time of year to ride?
Anytime.

Have you ever been down? If so, how were you hurt and what did you learn from the incident?
First time in the MSF class, a few scrapes and bruises, learned not to lock up the front brakes); second time leaving my ex-wife's neghborhood, a few more scrapes and bruises, confirmed that NO OTHER DRIVER is to be trusted on any road.

Have you ever done an "Iron Butt" ride?
No.

If not, what is the furthest you’ve ridden?
Either Herndon to Radford VA or Herndon to Philadelphia PA, not sure which.

What was the worst weather in which you’ve ridden?
Rain and then more rain.

Do you know how to work on your bike?
Patriot Harley Davidson is in my cell phone (as is the shop I take my cars to).

What is your favorite road song?
I make them up while I'm riding and at best they make no sense. At worst, they're obscene versions of other songs.

What was your most adventurous ride?
This summer when I took off not knowing or planning where I was going. Wound up in Boonsboro, it was a wonderful day.

What rallies or events do you like to attend?
Don't really know yet.

Is there someone who rides "two-up" with you?
Not anymore!

This the straight stuff - although I am one of the FNG's, I feel that the chapter members I have met are already friends. Don't get all choked up about this - it would be out of character for all of you!
