Hypothermia and frostbite can ruin your ride so take precautions to protect yourself. If you feel yourself getting cold, stop and warm up instead of pushing on. Blocking the wind is the best way to stay warm on a motorcycle at speed. Rain gear and surgical gloves (or something similar) can both make a significant difference in blocking the wind.
